HCHC
I've grown a lot on the job at Healthy Community Health Centers as a Marketing, Fundraising, and Event Planning Intern. I've been exposed to new platforms, new processes, and had to problem solve when I hadn't had prior experience in something. I even learned how to laminate! All jokes aside, I did learn incredibly valuable skills like organization, communication, Meta Business Suite, more Canva tricks, branding, campaign management, and more.

Raise the Stakes - A Casino Night Fundraiser
These are public social media posts that I contributed to for HCHC's Casino Fundraiser: Raise the Stakes. In addition to these posts, I created sponsor materials, physical and digital event materials, did outreach to the Board of Directors, donors, and sponsors, updated the website, took images and created content for the silent auction, and more. I learned a lot about what it takes to host an event and all the preparation that goes into it from a marketing perspective. In future roles, I hope to bring my creativity and planning skills, along with my branding and social media management skills to succeed in similar projects.

Great Community Give - An Online Day of Giving
These are public posts for our ongoing event, Early Giving, which leads up to the Great Community Give: A Virtual Giving Day. This is a fundraising day that allows us to work toward a specific goal and cause. In addition to these public social media posts I have worked on, I've also updated the donation website, performed outreach to donors and sponsors, communicated with staff and the Board about their roles in the event, and will be working the event day-of posting stories, lives, and interactive content. This campaign has allowed me to expand my knowledge on event planning, focus on campaign-specific branding, improve upon my outreach and communication skills, and connect with cause-driven work.
